Qatar- Katara's role in cultural exchange lauded

DOHA: Founding President and CEO of the National Council on US-Arab Relations Dr John Duke Anthony lauded the role the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara plays in boosting cultural exchange.

Dr Anthony was in Katara yesterday on the sideline of his visit to Qatar where he is leading a delegation of graduate students.

“We count on Katara’s competent officials to boost cooperation and promote the positive images in a bid to enhance opportunities of dialogue between the American people and the Arab people in general. We are confident that Katara has a wide experience at bringing people together” he said.

Dr Anthony and Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti stressed the role of culture at bringing people together and building bridges amongst different civilizations.
