(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 462.65 points (-4.38%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,090.81 points on Monday.
The daily turnover increased to QR 1.180 Billion with a volume of 34,589,824 shares from 8,005 deals compared with QR 109.939 Million with a volume of 2,652,425 shares from 2,175 deals on Sunday.
Indices of six sectors ended in the red today while transport index was lone sector in the green, up +0.42% to 2,520.67 points.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -4.38% when it closed at 15,648.72 points today. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index closed -3.78% lower at 3,799.88 points. QSE All Share Index dropped -4.16% (2,698.51 points).
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, 42 saw trading today. From these, seven gained, 32 closed lower and three remained unchanged.
