China's Jiangsu Chang to build USD20m plant in Oman


(MENAFN) Jiangsu Chang bao Steel Tube Co., the Chinese energy manufacturer specialized in the production of high-end pipes and tubular products for the oil and gas industry, will build up a manufacturing facility in Oman.

Accordingly, the major plant to be located in Sohar, which is estimated at an approximate USD20 million, will basically focus on producing steel piping and related goods for the domestic and regional oil and gas industry.

The Chinese top firm comprising of five hot-rolling mills and eight treading lines across China is the world's leading in small diameter alloy boiler tubes manufacturers, plus it's one of China's oldest seamless steel tube mills.

Furthermore, , the company's products also cater to the power generation and energy segments, and are marketed across the whole globe, including Europe, the United States, Africa, Middle East and other regions.
