S. Korean trade sales increase in Oct


(MENAFN) S. Korea's trade sales increased in Oct as tax cuts and a big reduction event sustained consumer spending.

Furthermore; retail sales surpassed USD 27.87bn in Oct, up a sharp 6.5 percent from USD 0.026mn a year earlier.

Accordingly, domestic need was fueled by remove tax cuts that went into effect on Aug.26, as well as the Korea Black Friday discount sales.

In addition, online shopping sales, which grew in recent years, surged 20.6 percent on-year on sharp demand for food products, cosmetics and other needs.
