Oman- ISM celebrates 45th National Day

Indian School Muscat (ISM) celebrated the 45th National Day and the 75th birthday of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said recently. The premises was bedecked with festoons and flags of Oman on the occasion.

According to a press release the event was attended by dignitaries from the Municipal Council Shura Council members of the Indian School Managing Committee vice principals assistant vice principals of various section of ISM and Srinivas K Naidu principal ISM. As part of the event the middle section of the school paid tribute to His Majesty the Sultan.

The school also cut a ceremonial cake to hail His Majesty the Sultan's rule of 45 years. The students through their rendition for His Majesty the Sultan expressed their commitment loyalty and love. The event also saw the students taking out a procession in traditional attires representing different governorates and states of both Oman and India.

A powerpoint presentation on His Majesty the Sultan and the transition of Oman was held. The presentation chronicled Oman's strategic growth and prosperity which has earned it a position of distinction and undiluted admiration worldwide. The event also saw the launching of a song composed by Avinash Kumar Mathur music teacher in ISM.

The song written composed and sung by Mathur was dedicated to His Majesty the Sultan and the friendly people of Oman. The programme concluded with the invoking of Almighty's blessings on His Majesty the Sultan and the playing of the national anthems of Oman and India.
