ISWK marks 45th National Day in full splendour showcases Oman's tradition

Oman's 45th National Day was celebrated in full splendour by the management staff and students of Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK).

A press release stated that as many as 3500 students 300 teaching and non-teaching staff extended their greetings to the benevolent ruler His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the hospitable people of Oman.

The event began with a procession of students members of the school managing committee staff and parents carrying banners and pictures of His Majesty the Sultan. This was followed by the national anthem prayer for the long and healthy life of His Majesty the Sultan. The students from the primary and senior schools made breath-taking formations to commemorate the day.

The event also saw a class V student's rendition of an Arabic song praising His Majesty the Sultan as a father figure. The highlight of the event was a traditional dance performance by the Omani staff along with their families. Students of the senior school staged a fusion dance programme. The students showcased a blend of popular Omani music and dance with traditional song and dance of Rajasthan. The celebrations concluded with a prayer to the Almighty seeking blessings for His Majesty the Sultan and the people of Oman.
