Jordan- One Palestinian shot dead after alleged stabbing attack
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah Nov.29 (Petra)--A Palestinian was shot dead early Sunday by Israeli soldiers at the entrance of the old city of Jerusalem after allegedly stabbed and injured an Israeli police .
The Israeli Radio Sunday reported that Israeli Border Guards shot dead a Palestinian young man claiming he attempted to stab an Israeli guard.
The soldier suffered mild to moderate injuries and was evacuated to a hospital in Jerusalem while other soldiers shot dead the Palestinian young man the radio added.
Witnesses near the scene said that Jewish settlers and Israeli police shot the Palestinian man at least 12 times during the incident .
High tension prevails in the old city of Jerusalem its markets and neighborhoods while Jewish settlers are chanting racist slogans calling for killing the Arabs the source added.
