Car bomb kills 5 people, injures 15 others in N. Iraq


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least five people were killed and 15 others wounded on Saturday in a car bomb explosion in northern Iraq, an Iraqi police source said.
A bomb car by a bomber was detonated near a checkpoint in Tuz Kharmatu to the northeast of Saladin Province, leaving five people killed and 15 others wounded, the source added.
Several nearby buildings were also damaged in the attack, the source noted.
Tuz Kharmatu is jointly controlled by Kurdish Peshmerga and Iraqi local forces.
