Jordan Romania discuss cultural cooperation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Nov. 27 (Petra) -- Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture Mamoun Talhouni on Thursday discussed with Director of the Cultural Affairs at the Romanian Foreign Ministry Merilla Greko ways to bolster cultural cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting Talhouni underlined the importance of cultural cooperation among the world nations in general and with Romania in particular noting that the Romanian community is one of the most active communities in the Kingdom.

Meanwhile the Romanian official spoke about the cultural activities which her country plans to organize in the Kingdom over the coming few months which aim to increase the Jordanian people awareness about her country's culture.
