(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium and head of Qatar's mission to the European Union, HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim al-Thani, met at the European Parliament the head of the Qatari-European Friendship Group, Ramona Manescu, along with members of The European Parliament.
The meeting took place concurrently with the ambassador's participation in the European Parliament's regular meetings in the French city of Strasburg.
The meeting discussed the situation in the Middle East and the importance of promoting ties between Qatar and the EU as well as a set of issues of common concern.
