Omani Nama Group inks USD411m deals for energy schemes


(MENAFN) Nine deals worth USD411.3 million were closed by the Nama Group (formerly known as Electricity Holding Group) amidst the recent Business Opportunity Forum, which include schemes that the group will apply in 2015.

The signed schemes include a project to improve the network in Al Rustaq in South Al Batinah, a project to supply electricity to governmental entities in Wilayat Ibri and a project to build transformer stations in Ibra and Salalah.

Furthermore, Nama Group sponsored the "Business Opportunities Forum" as a gold sponsor, which was put through by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (OCCI) at the Oman International Exhibition Centre
.
"The group is working to support the needs of economic growth through cooperation with the concerned authorities to implement projects, thus the forum will provide the perfect platform," said Nama Group's CEO.
