Saudi Yamama, ThyssenKrupp ink USD1.1b contract


(MENAFN) Saudi Yamama Cement Company signed an USD1.1 billion deal with Germany's ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions to build two new cement plants.

Accordingly, the production facilities with a total volume of 20,000 tons of clinker will be built at a new site around 80 km east of the Saudi capital city of Riyadh.

Moreover, the new plant will be built within the next 39 months with all needed component like two chief crushers for limestone and three crushers for additives.

"We are delighted that Yamama is once again putting its faith in our broad experience in the turnkey building of complete cement plants worldwide," said the ThyssenKrupp chief.
