10 Times More Sales Recorded on the First Day of Souq.com White Friday 2015


(MENAFNEditorial) Souq.com, the largest online retailer in the Middle East confirms ten-fold increase over average daily sales on the first day of White Friday Sale that commenced yesterday, with 40% of the sales coming from the mobile app. This reinstates the growing m-commerce trend in the region. Souq.com is offering incredible White Friday deals from the 25th – 28th November on Souq.com as well as its mobile app.

Souq.com further confirmed that 2 items were sold per second with over 20K mobiles, 20K bottles of perfumes and 20K fashion items being sold in the first few hours itself. 40% of purchases on the first day came via credit card, which also proves customers are availing benefit of partnership with MasterCard to get 10% extra off on all deals.
