OIC Condemns Terrorist Attack in Tunisia


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed its firm condemnation of the criminal terrorist attack that has targeted the Tunisian presidential guards in the evening of November 24th, 2015 causing a number of deaths and many severe injuries among them.

The OIC Secretary General, Iyad Ameen Madani expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the wounded.

The Secretary General also expressed his solidarity with Tunisia in its war against terrorism and violent extremism which seek to undermine the security and stability of Tunisia and alter the Tunisian moderation and tolerance-driven model of society.

He further called on the international and regional powers to extend their full support to Tunisia in its fight against terrorism.
