Turkey condemns suicide attack in Egypt


(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Turkey’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday condemned a suicide attack in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula that claimed seven lives.

In a statement the ministry said: “We strongly condemn the suicide attack that was carried out in Northern Syria’s Sinai city of Arish. We wish God’s mercy upon the ones who lost their lives we offer condolences to the families of the deceased and we also wish a speedy recovery for the injured.”

Tuesday's attack saw two suicide bombers detonate explosives outside a hotel in Arish.

A group affiliated to Daesh called Province of Sinai claimed responsibility for the attack.
