UAE- Gargash receives AU Commissioner for Peace and Security

ABU DHABI 25th November 2015 (WAM) - Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash Minister of State for Foreign Affairs received here today the African Union (AU) Commissioner for Peace and Security Smail Chergui and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting touched on key issues developments and topics of mutual interest as well ways of encaing ties and cooperation.

Attending the meeting were Pierre Buyoya AU's High Representative for Mali and Sahel Francisco Madeira Head of the AU Mission in Somalia and Director of the African Centre on the Study and Research on Terrorism (ACSRT) Martin Uhomoibhi UN-AU Joint Special Representative for Darfur and Abdel Hamid bu Zaher AU's Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
