AJMAN 25th November 2015 (WAM)Adnan Salem Acting Director-General of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) today inaugurated the Al Jurf power station (3) in the Emirate of Ajman as part of the national plans to meet the growing demand for electricity services due to urban demographic commercial and industrial expansions.

He said the new power station would feed 250 villas currently under construction within the President's Initiatives.

''FEWA is currently laying down cables and installing transformers which will supply power to these villas and 306 other houses within the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme in Ragaaib area'' he said.
