Hostage situation in north of France

(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) All hostages were freed in a crisis that took place in the northern French town of Roubaix Tuesday according to media reports.

French daily Le Figaro citing police sources said the hostage situation was most likely a robbery gone wrong and thus not linked to the Paris attacks of Nov. 13 which killed 130 people.

Shots were heard but police told Le Figaro that there were no injured so far. The French daily said three heavily armed were reportedly involved in the hostage situation.
