Oman- Sultanate to take part in e governance meet today


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat-

Oman represented by the Information Technology Authority (ITA) will take part in the fourth GCC e-Government Award conference and exhibition in Bahrain on Wednesday. ITA will also be accompanied by officials from some government departments.

The event will kick-off under the patronage of Prince Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa Prime Minister of Bahrain. This year's edition will focus on exchanging experiences honouring outstanding ventures and strengthening integration between GCC countries. The topics and working papers will highlight the most important e-Government matters in GCC.

It will also discuss the role of big and smart data integration in regional decision-making and social media. It will also showcase GCC experiences in the e-Government field across a range of field including justice social development and many others.
