11 Killed in Blast on Bus Carrying Tunisian Presidential Security


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Eleven members of the Tunisian presidential security service were killed on Tuesday when an explosion hit their bus in the capital Tunis, Interior Ministry spokesman Walid al-Wuqaini told state television.

Fourteen other people were injured, and the cause of the explosion was not yet known, the broadcaster said, citing an unnamed security official.

The blast happened on Mohammed V Avenue in central Tunis, local newspaper al-Chrouk reported.
