(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 63.94 points or -0.60% when it closed at 10,611.80 points on Tuesday.
The daily turnover increased to QR 229,189 Million with a volume of 5,596,852 shares from 4,383 deals compared with QR 214,668 Million with a volume of 5,226,121 shares from 3,838 deals on Monday.
The market capitalization decreased to QR 558,060 from QR 561,258 registered today, while Indices of two sectors ended in green and five ended in red. Banks & Financial Services sector dropped -1.13% to 2,843.25 points, while Industrials sectors down to -0.71% to 3,149.87 points.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.60% to 16,494.52 points. QE Al Rayan Islamic Index decreased -0.64% to 3,985.17 points. From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today, from these 9 gained, 29 dropped and two remained unchanged today.
