Korean SK to acquire OCI Materials for USD416m
(MENAFN) S. Korea Corp. has wanted to buy a regional producer of special gases used in chip making, LCD and solar panels, in order to strengthen its material business.
Moreover; SK will buy a 49.1 percent pale in OCI Materials Co. for USD 416mn, which changes to USD 79.8mn for each share.
In addition, OCI, a solar panel maker, tried to sell OCI Materials since May 2015, while it suffered with an expanded fall in the solar power industry.
The solar panel maker, recorded USD206 million in sales over the Jan-Sep period of the cited year, and recorded USD65.7 million in working income.
