675kg Omani halwa made for Guinness World Records

A 675kg Omani halwa in the form of map was prepared on Monday to commemorate the 45th National Day.

The halwa was prepared as part of the 45th National Day celebrations (Muscat Daily)
Prepared by Al Hosni Omani Sweets the event was observed by Guinness World Records officials for a possible entry into the record book.

To prepare the halwa 900lt of water 67.5kg of wheat starch 405kg of white sugar 270kg of black sugar 90kg of almonds 90kg of cashew nuts 90kg of walnuts 22.5kg of saffron 135lt of rose water 90kg of cardamom 90kg of clarified butter and 135 eggs were used.
