Omani Researcher Nominated for L'Oreal UNESCO Science Award 2015

Dr. Athraa bint Hilal al-Ma'aweliyah Director of Studies and Research Centre at the Ministry of Health was nominated among the top four researchers in the Middle East for L'Oreal UNESCO Science Award 2015 an international award from the National Council for Medical Research based in France.

Dr. al-Ma'aweliyah was chosen along with researchers from Saudi Arabia Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). She is among the best researchers in the Middle East in 2015 for her research 'Evaluation of the Role and Size of the Amount of Carcinogens Stem Cells in the Prediction and the Return of Acute Leukemia.

She was honored today in the Academic City in Zayed University in Dubai under the auspices of Sheikha Lubna al-Qasimi Minister of International Cooperation in the UAE.
