Kuwait- Sheikh Salman inaugurates Kuwait heritage show in Sharm El Sheikh


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) SHARM EL-SHEIKH Egypt Nov 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah highlighted the role of the Arab youth festival for culture arts and heritage restoration in boosting the Arab youth joint action.Speaking to KUNA after opening Kuwait heritage exhibition on the sidelines of the festival at the heritage village on Monday night he said the festival attracted large number of youth delegations from the Arab countries including Kuwait.Sheikh Salman noted that his visit to Sharm El-Sheikh signals Kuwait's support to tourism in Egypt and the close relations between the two sisterly countries."The current festival provides an important opportunity for bringing the youths from various Arab countries close to each other and reviving the tourist sector in Egypt" the minister said voicing hope for the success of the event.He commended Egypt's efforts to revitalize tourism and hold the festival which opened on Sunday at the Arab League headquarters.He thanked head of the Kuwaiti cultural office in Cairo Dr. Furaih Al-Enezi and staff of the office for their active participation in the festival and organizing the Kuwaiti heritage exhibition.Besides Kuwait the festival gathered representatives of the United Arab Emirates Sudan and Qatar.
