(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) SHARM EL-SHEIKH Egypt Nov 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah on Monday ruled out the possibility of development and advancement without the role of youth.Addressing a function on history at the heritage village he urging helping the youth to benefit from the experiences of their parents and ancestors and build on the heritage of Arab and Islamic civilization."Regrettably we hear of premeditated defamatory campaigns against Islam and the contributions of Arabs and Muslims to civilization. The cultural activities such as the ongoing Arab youth festival for culture arts and heritage restoration can help correct the unfair stereotypes about Islam and enlighten the Arab youth about the glorious history of their nation" he pointed out."The festival also provides a networking opportunity for youth from all Arab countries and give them full rein to contribute to security stability and development in the Arab homeland" the minister added.The function gathered Governor of North Sinai Ali Hefzi and Chairman of the general organization of the culture palaces Dr. Mohammad Badran.
