Jordan- Labour Ministry deports 1208 guest workers in less than month
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The Ministry of Labor took a decision to deport 1208 guest workers of various nationalities over labor Law violations.
The ministry detained those workers during October 27-November 17 in Amman and other governorates across the Kingdom as part of a campaign that aims at regulating the labor market and ensuring that employers abide by the Labor Law.
Labor Minister Nidal Qatamin instructed the Ministry's Inspection Department in November 2014, to start a campaign to regulate the labor market and ensure that guest workers rectify their status.
