S. Korea's economy rises despite challenges

(MENAFN) S. Korea's economy achieved a notable rise in this year, despite some national and overseas challenges, as claimed on Monday.

Furthermore, the timely installation of USD 9.94bn additional budget and other incentive measures has kept the nation's increase.

In addition, Asia's fourth-top economy was hit by the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, whereas the slowdown growth in China's market, affected exports.

"South Korea's economic growth to hit 3.1 percent this year, down from 3.3 percent tallied for 2014," said the finance ministry.
