U.S. stocks end higher among rate rise


(MENAFN) U.S. stocks end higher, as investors digested several Federal Reserve officials' comments on the timing of an important rate increase.

Moreover; the Dow Jones Industrial standard increased 91.06 points, to reach 17, 823, 82.

"The U.S. central bank will return to an era where there is more uncertainty on interest rate moves on a meeting-by-meeting basis after an initial rate hike," said St.Louis Fed President.

Additionally, the U.S. dollar rose against the euro, whereas the Fed was on the way to increase interest rates.
