Norway's Scatec Solar to build USD600m solar plants in Egypt


](MENAFN) Scatec Solar, the European company which specializes in integration of photovoltaic (PV) systems plans to initiate solar projects in Egypt at nearly USD600 million.

Additionally, as the sun is very stable from morning to evening, plenty of solar power can be generated in Egypt, plus these investments will create numerous jobs in the country.

The Norway-based firm has already begun talks with Egyptian companies in regards to training local workers and teaching them the skills during the building of solar plants.

Furthermore, there have been several solar energy events in Cairo throughout the last year, but this one was completely different because it fixated on formulating the activities on the ground.
