Asia Pacific leaders to call for urgent efforts to fight terrorism


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Manila Safar 07 1437 November 19 2015 SPA -- Asia-Pacific leaders are expected to call Thursday for
"urgent" efforts to fight terrorism as they meet for an economic
summit overshadowed by the deadly attacks in Paris dpa reported.

The leaders of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum
meeting in Manila condemned the attacks in Paris Beirut and against
a Russian aircraft all claimed by the ISIS group.

"We stress the urgent need for increased international cooperation
and solidarity in the fight against terrorism" the leaders said
according to a draft of a statement to be released at the end of
their meeting.
