Jordan- 5 Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli forces in Hebron


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah Nov.19 (Petra)-- Around five Palestinian youths on Thursday were injured when violent clashes erupted with Israeli soldiers in the Duheisha refugee camp south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The Popular Committee in the Duheisha camp said in a statement that Israeli forces stormed the area and raided its homes noting that clashes broke out with the occupation soldiers who used live ammunition and metal bullets.

The statement added that the injured were transferred to a nearby hospital in Bethlehem.

Meanwhile the occupation forces arrested some 27 Palestinians in various West Bank cities according to Palestinian sources.

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-detainees said in a statement that the Israeli soldiers stormed Hebron Nablus Ramallah Jenin and Bethlehem and arrested 27 citizens.

The Israeli army launches arrest campaigns on a daily basis against dozens of Palestinians in various cities and villages of the West Bank under various pretexts.
