China lowers TV market stake with S. Korea


(MENAFN) China stretched its presence in the global TV market in the third quarter, tightening the gap with number 1 S. Korea, according to the latest reports.

Accordingly; Beijing touched 27.2 percent in TV market in the July-Sep period, compared with S. Korea which reached 31.7 percent, down 2.7 percentages.

In addition to this, the global OLED TV deliveries reached 91,200 units in the cited period, rising from 16,900 units in comparison with a year earlier.

According to the company, Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics increased 19.4 percent and 12.3 percent respectively of the TV market in the mentioned quarter.
