UAE- President s initiatives Follow up Committee approves housing projects

ABU DHABI 19th November 2015 (WAM) -- In line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the follow up of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces the Follow-up Committee of the Initiatives of UAE President has approved the building of 587 houses for citizens in different parts of the country.

The approval came following a meeting of the committee under the chairmanship of Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs in which the committee also approved the names of 1720 beneficiaries from different parts of the emirate where houses require maintenance or customisation.

Al Za'abi praised the support extended by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs to the committee and its projects which are expected to be implemented on schedule and in accordance with the current best practices in the field.

He added that the projects were being implemented in keeping with the wise leadership's directives to provide stable and decent living standards and comfort to UAE citizens.

The meeting was attended by Jabr Mohammed Al Suwaidi Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court Mohammed Abdullah Al Romaithi Under-Secretary of the Presidential Affairs Ministry for Financial and Procurement Affairs Faris Obaid Al Dhaheri Director-General of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority Mohammed Mohammed Saleh Director-General of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mail Assistant Under-Secretary for Housing and Urban Planning at the Ministry of Public Works Mohammed Al Mai'ni and Ali Al Dahmani.
