UAE- Jamal Al Suwaidi Italian officials discuss areas of cooperation

ROME 18th November 2015 (WAM) -- Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi Director-General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research has met with Roberto Formigoni Chairperson of the 9th Standing Committee of Agriculture and Food Production and Professor Umberto Veronesi scientific Director at the National Cancer Institute in Milan during Dr. Al Suwaidi's visit to Italy where the parties discussed cooperative relation between both sides.

During the meeting Al Suwaidi discussed with Italian officials the subject of his book "The Mirage" which addresses the issue of political and religious groups and how these groups try to exploit the Islamic religion for political or personal interests.

Roberto Formigoni and Umberto Veronesi expressed their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al Suwaidi who gave them each a copy of his new book and they expressed appreciation for his intellectual and research efforts in order to enlighten public opinion on important pivotal issues especially in light of the current situation in the region and the world.
