DUBAI 18th November 2015 (WAM) -- Emirates Transport as part of its annual ceremony for honouring strategic partners has honoured the Dar Al Ber Society DABS for its vigorous efforts and fruitful partnership.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Jarman Director General of Emirates Transport handed over a memento to Imran Mohammed Abdullah Board Member and Head of Culture and Studies Sector on behalf of Dar Al Ber Society at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi.

Imran Mohammed Abdullah said that the two entities have responsibly entered into a number of fruitful initiatives for thorough development of individuals and the society alike in view of the UAE government strategy in terms of social responsibility. "The 'dress them make them happy' project is one of the moves initiated by Emirates Transport in collaboration with the Dar Al Ber Society to provide Eid clothes for orphans. 'a house in paradise' and 'UAE-Compassionate' are two other initiatives launched by Emirates Transport in cooperation with the Society for the benefit of the poor and low-income people and in support for the storm-hit people in the Levant" Mr. Abdullah added.

He went on to say "Dar Al Ber Society spares no effort to professionally meet its strategic goals in association with all entities in the country via a number of charitable and humanitarian partnerships. The UAE is known for charitable and humanitarian works for which the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan raised the bar on a path followed by the prudent rulers who always boost these noble values" he emphasised concluding "May Almighty Allah protect the UAE and keep it safe secure and prosperous."
