Muscat Securities Market Loses 21.2 Points


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 21.2 points on Tuesday's trading session, a decline by 0.36 percent to close at 5814.35 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 5835.52 points, Omani state news agency ONA reported.

The trading value amounted to RO 3.72 million, comprising a rise by 134.49 percent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 1.59 million.

Market value fell by 0.21 percent to reach about RO 14.83 billion, according to the MSM report.

The value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 524,000, comprising 14.07 percent, while the value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,081,000, comprising 29.01 percent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 14.07 percent to RO 556,000.
