Tunisia seeks Kuwaiti investments


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Tunisia's Prime Minister Habib Essid said on Tuesday his government would work, in the coming period, on evolving investment laws to lure foreign investors, mainly the Kuwaitis.
Essid made the statement during a meeting with Kuwait's Ambassador to Tunisia Ali Al-Ahmad Al-Thufairi, said the embassy in a statement received by KUNA, adding the premier lauded Kuwait's aid and support for Tunisia.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed historic relations between the two countries and means of promoting them, the statement said.
The Tunisian government had submitted projects of investment to the parliament for approval in order to bring foreign investments as the country is suffering from an economic crisis.
