GCC Custom officials discuss duties trasnfer to member countries


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Members of GCC Custom Union Authority discussed on Sunday direct transfer of custom duties of goods transported among the six Arab Gulf countries.
They also discussed products of GCC-based factories and improving performance of border crossings, a statement by the GCC Secretariat said.
The officials discussed the GCC collective membership in the international land transport agreement.
Today's meeting is part of efforts of the Gulf Cooperation Counci countries to remove all obstacles hampering movement of goods among member countries.
The GCC consists of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
