Qatar Sends Two aid Planes to Yemen


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Under the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, two planes left Doha today to the Yemen of Socotra carrying a new batch of relief assistance to alleviate suffering of the Yemeni people and to provide them with food , goods and medicines. The flights are part of an airlift to Yemen which was started earlier.

Accompanied by members of the Qatari Research and Rescue Team (Lekhwiya), the airlift was resumed today carrying a total of a total aid to 356 tons , including five flights to Djibouti airport and transported across the sea to Aden, three direct flights to Aden airport and three others to Socotra Airport.
