The Abu Dhabi Police arrested a Pakistani electrician for slaughtering his compatriot employer to death in a case of cold-blooded murder.

The suspect told the police that he did the murder in self-defence as his boss compelled him to have an illicit relationship after he demanded a salary hike.

Brigadier Dr Rashid Mohammed Bursheed Director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) said the auto electrician A.M. 24 murdered R.A. 41 in Al Musaffah in Abu Dhabi.

The killer reportedly stabbed the victim several times before slaughtering him with a cleaver in the latter's car in a remote area Bursheed added. After the gruesome murder the killer drove the car to another area in Al Musaffah Industrial area where he deliberately crashed it against a sidewalk.

He then fled the scene assuming that the police would believe that the victim was killed in an accident. He threw the cleaver into a rubbish box and dumped the blood-stained clothes in an abandoned car Bursheed said.

The CID received information about a dead body drenched in blood in a car that had crashed.

Even from the initial examination police understood that the victim had been stabbed and slaughtered with the help of a weapon.

A security team was formed to probe into the incident who located the killer and made his arrest.
