(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Valletta Safar 03 1437 November 15 2015 SPA -- Seventy-one people were reported injured two
critically after a stampede to flee a nightclub in Malta early
Sunday according to dpa.
It was not clear what prompted the stampede. The Times of Malta
reported that investigators were looking into the possibility of a
gas leak inside the club since many of those rushed to hospital
complained of a shortness of breath.
Video footage showed a glass banister collapsing under the pressure
of scores of people trying to leave all at once down a staircase.
