170k new homes built in England due to Housing boom


(MENAFN)A new increase in the number of homes built in England during last year has reached 25 percent, showing a huge increase for the 28 years.

Almost 170,690 new homes were constructed in the last year, showing that more than 700,000 extra homes were delivered in England since 2010, Communities Secretary Greg Clark announced.

There was a notable increase in new homes which were formed by converting buildings into residential properties.

A lot of such changes were totally finished in 2014-2015, rising to 65 percent, the government cleared a historic contract to expand the 'Right to Buy' scheme to USD 1.3 million.
