Jordanian bank deposits rise to 32.24 billion Dinar

Amman: Jordan's bank deposits increased 6.5% to 32.24 Billion dinars for the period ended September 30 compared with 30.261 Billion dinars during the same period in 2014.

The Central Bank of Jordan data shows private sector deposits increased 6% during the first nine months of 2015 to 29.46 Billion dinars compared with 27.78 Billion dinars in 2014.

Private sector deposits accounted for 91.3% of total deposits while public sector deposits rose to 2.78 Billion dinars in the first six months of this year compared with 2.47 Billion dinars at the end of 2014 an increase by 12.6% and 8.7% of the total deposits.
