Losail MX Chionship Round 2 kicks off tomorrow

Doha: The second round of Losail MX Championship will take place tomorrow with around 40 riders ready for action at the Losail MX track .

The victory in the MX1 was for the British rider Benjamin Menzie who participated for first time in the Losail MX Championship and had a tough battle with the Kuwaiti rider Mohammed Jaffar who ended in second place.

“I had a good start in the opening round even it was my first time at the Losail track but now that I know better the track it will be easier for me to go faster but for sure that there will be a good competition with Jaffar and Anderson let’s see” said Menzies.

In the MX2 category the leader is Ryan Blair also from Great Britain followed by the Kuwaiti riders Meshary Abou Shaibah and Moath Al Ansari in the standing.

For this round the Honduras rider Sara Handal will take part in the MX2 category.

For the MX1 MX2 and Veterans free practice will be at 9:05 and qualifying practice at 10:00.

The first race is scheduled at 11:10 and the second one at 12:45. Regarding the Junior championship free practice and qualifying will be at 9:30 and 10:00 respectively and the junior races at 11:55 and 13:30.
