(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's National Arabian Horse Festival will be launched here tomorrow under the auspices of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah featuring the beauty of the local hybrids, with the pariticpation of 264 pure Arab horses.
The two-day event, organized by the Arabian Horse Center, and headed by Sheikha Sarah Fahad Al-Duaij Al-Sabah will also include launching a second championship for Egyptian horses on November 20, with the participation of 162 pure Arabian horses, as this venue is restricted only to Kuwaiti horse stalls.
Member of the organizing committee Khaled Al-Fahad said in press remarks today that the Arabian Horse Center has settled all the needed preparations for the upcoming event.
The Center will also organize other three festivals at national, Arab, and international levels, he said.
The Center is keen to provide the festival with the best international juries, besides organizing the competitions during holidays to allow people to attend and enjoy this event, he said.
Al-Fahad praised the support offered to this fetival by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad AL-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-sAbah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
