Jordan- Planning ministry displays refugee crisis challenges


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Planning and International Cooperation minister, Imad Fakhoury along with President of the International Rescue Committee David Miliband, discussed challenges facing Jordan, as well as, the impacts of hosting large numbers of Syrian refugees.


Fakhoury briefed Miliband on Resilience Development Forum results, which was held Yesterday in Jordan in order to bring to together decision makers, humanitarian, international and funding agencies, in addition to the NGO's and the private sector to come out with regional agenda that help countries adversely affected by the Syrian crisis.


Miliband briefed the Planning minister on the committee work globally and namely in the Kingdom and its future aspirations for the work in Jordan.

The committee had implemented two projects last year worth $9 million in health sector.
