UAE- ADNOC OMV sign MoU on technical cooperation at ADIPEC 2015

ABU DHABI 12th November 2015 (WAM)Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and OMV a Vienna-based integrated international oil and gas company today signed a technical agreement for co-operation in human resources development.

Inked on the sidelines of the 18th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) being staged at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre the agreement will see the UAE Austrian and other oil major companies jointly conduct technical studies and secondment of experts and professionals.

The agreement crowned a successful upstream exploration agreement signed between ADNOC and OMV East Abu Dhabi Exploration GmbH in 2013 for four years. OMV has also participated in the Shuwaihat gas field appraisal project in 2012.

Abu Dhabi's International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) owns a 24.9 percent stake in the Austrian energy group.
