Call for 'just' Palestinian peace


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani attending the final session of the fourth summit of Arab and South American countries in Riyadh yesterday. The closing session was chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, at King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre. The official delegation accompanying the Emir also attended the closing session. The summit, in its final declaration, emphasised "the need to achieve a just and comprehensive peace to the Palestinian cause", with a state of Palestine based on 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital. It also called for solutions to the wars in Yemen, Syria and other regional conflicts.
