Qatar- Attorney general meets British officials

London: HE Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri met Wednesday in London with Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd head of the judiciary and chief justice of England and Wales.

The meeting reviewed issues of mutual concern.

HE the attorney general also met Ambassador Alastair King-Smith head of international counter extremism at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

During the meeting Dr. Al Marri listened to a presentation by Ambassador King-Smith on the United Kingdom's new strategy on counter extremism. The two sides discussed means of deepening cooperation in this area between the two friendly countries.

In addition Dr. Al Marri met British Attorney General Jeremy Wright with the two sides exchanging views on a set of issues of mutual interest and ways of activating the memorandum of understanding signed between public prosecutions in the two friendly countries.
